The Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, honored the recipients of the inaugural “Tamayuz” Excellence Award on Thursday night. The award, which is given out at the level of institutions under Sheikh Sultan’s leadership, intends to draw attention to internal institutions’ efforts, foster competition between public and private organizations, increase institutional effectiveness and concentrate on performance enhancement and institutional growth to implement the highest standards in institutional excellence and governance.
The investment bank took first place in the area of greatest financial control, and the University of Sharjah (UoS) was recognized as the finest institution in governance implementation. The Sharjah Broadcasting Authority took the top place in the best smart application category with its “Maraya” application. At the same time, the Sharjah Media City “Shams” was named the greatest entity in the secret shopper reports.
According to secret shopper reports, the Sharjah Government Media Bureau also took home the title of best website for its “Sharjah Events” website. According to secret shopper reports, the UoS also earned the prize for best contact centre, while Arada Company’s “City Walk Sales Centre” took home the best service centre title. Sharjah Media City “Shams” received the prizes for best entity in employee and customer satisfaction.
