Building and strengthening ties with key economic partners in Abu Dhabi and throughout the world is the goal of the strategic stakeholder engagement initiative that the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) has started. The purpose of this long-term project is to improve cooperation that benefits Abu Dhabi’s business sector by concentrating on proactive and organised communication with essential partners.
The Abu Dhabi Chamber’s second vice chairman and managing director, Shamis Al Dhaheri, led a Chamber delegation that visited three important industrial hubs as part of the launch: Metal Park, China-UAE Industrial Capacity Cooperation Demonstration Zone (JOCIC Park), and Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD). These hubs are key to the advancement of the Abu Dhabi Industrial Strategy (ADIS) and act as primary entry points for foreign investment into the United Arab Emirates.
As part of the journey, the Chamber demonstrated its commitment to deepening and broadening Abu Dhabi’s commercial ties with China by signing a Collaboration Agreement with the Jiangsu Provincial Overseas Cooperation and Investment Company Ltd. (JOCIC). As part of the Chamber’s objective to offer support services, legal consultations, training, certification, and business matching, the engagement Agreement seeks to open up new prospects for private sector actors in both markets and encourage direct commercial engagement. Local businesses are better equipped to establish new alliances and capitalise on emerging market opportunities thanks to ADCCI’s provision of these tools and encouragement of participation in investment events and economic forums.
