Under the direction of the Presidential Court, Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, attended the “Zayed Humanitarian Day” event, which was arranged by the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments & Zakat in collaboration with the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center in Abu Dhabi. Every year on the 19th day of Ramadan, the event honors the lasting humanitarian legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father, whose vision made the United Arab Emirates a worldwide symbol of kindness, generosity, and humanitarianism.
The purpose of the event is to uphold the social and humanitarian ideals that Sheikh Zayed’s life and legacy inspired, as well as to draw inspiration from his altruistic and humanitarian approach, which has established the United Arab Emirates as a shining example of generosity and humanitarian ideals, reaching out to people all over the world in times of need.
Sheikh Abdullah Bin Bayyah, Chairman of the UAE Council for Fatwa and President of the Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace; Dr. Hamdan Musallam Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority; Dr. Omar Habtour Al Derei, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments & Zakat; Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Secretary-General of Erth Zayed Philanthropies; Saeed Mohammed Al Raqbani, Special Advisor for Judicial and Religious Affairs at the Presidential Court; and other eminent scholars who are guests of the UAE President.
