His Highness. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on Monday. Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE, was also present. A high-level team led by Malaysia’s Prime Minister is on an official visit to the UAE.
His Highness welcomed Malaysia’s Prime Minister and his delegation to Za’abeel Palace in Dubai, emphasising the UAE’s deep historical links with Malaysia. He also emphasised the UAE’s commitment to improving bilateral relations to benefit both countries and their peoples.
During the meeting, His Highness praised the tremendous progress made in bilateral collaboration, as well as the common desire to develop these ties. He emphasised the need of exchanging expertise and using successful development experiences, while pushing the private sector to pursue new opportunities, particularly in investment, trade, tourism, and travel, to capitalise on both countries’ individual capabilities.
Sheikh Ahmed Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, as well as Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and CEO of Emirates Airline and Group, attended the meeting.
