His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE’s vice president and prime minister, issued Decree No. (71) of 2024 and Decree No. (72) of 2024, elevating 96 members of the judiciary to positions in Dubai Courts and the Public Prosecution in his capacity as the Ruler of Dubai.

Decree No. (72) advanced 24 judges to Senior Cassation Judge, 16 to Cassation Judge, 18 to Appeal Judge, and 4 to Primary Court Judge, the sixth grade. Ten members of the Public Prosecution were also elevated to Senior Advocate General, twenty-two to Advocate General, and two to Chief Prosecutor.

The Dubai Attorney General, Counselor Essam Issa Al Humaidan; the Director General of Dubai Courts, Dr. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi; the Chief of Dubai’s Judicial Inspection Authority, Counselor Mohammed Mubarak Al Sabousi; and the Secretary-General of the Dubai Judicial Council, Dr. Abdullah Saif Al Suboosi, took this opportunity to thank Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, the Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, and the Chairman of the Dubai Judicial Council, for their unwavering support of judicial authorities and their members.

Additionally, they praised Sheikh Mohammed’s dedication to elevating illustrious members of the judiciary to leadership roles and higher levels of the organization, which will increase Dubai’s.
