His Majesty Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (Taqa) sponsored the 4th World Utilities Congress in the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from May 27 to 29, 2025, and Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, participated.

The Abu Dhabi Department of Energy, TAQA, Enercap, a division of Apex Investment PSC, and Elsewedy Electric were among the national organisations and businesses Sheikh Khaled visited.

Sheikh Khaled discussed the most recent developments in the utilities management, water, and power sectors and the continuous initiatives of national stakeholders to promote sustainable practices in the sector.

The three-day event brought together experts and decision-makers from across the world and included high-level conversations, innovative technology solutions, and strategic initiatives that advanced the water and power utilities industries.

In the face of rising global demand for energy and water, this year’s event brought together more than 18,000 attendees, 1,400 delegates, and more than 500 thought leaders from around the globe, further fostering innovation and supporting environmentally friendly and sustainable practices in the utilities sector.

The 4th World Utilities Congress concentrated on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, robust smart-grid systems, and sustainable funding for projects driven by renewable energy sources like solar and wind to promote workable, future-ready solutions for the utilities industry’s problems.
