By adopting cutting-edge amphibious vehicles with standard requirements, the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority has strengthened its operational readiness. With an emphasis on handling crises during extreme weather or widespread floods in the emirate’s cities and areas, these vehicles are built to effectively carry out rescue, evacuation, and logistical support operations in a variety of environments.
This project is in line with the Authority’s continuous efforts to improve emergency management procedures and strengthen its capacity for quick response. The recently deployed eight-wheel-drive amphibious vehicles are designed to maneuver across difficult terrain, urban environments, and locations threatened by flooding. Their remarkable mobility and capacity to reach places that are normally inaccessible by traditional vehicles are among their most notable characteristics.
