To localise the manufacturing and assembly of its cars in the United Arab Emirates, premium new energy vehicle company ROX Motor has established a strategic agreement with W Motors, the top high-performance vehicle manufacturer in the country. The deal, which was inked during Make it in the Emirates (MIITE) 2025, is a significant step towards boosting local manufacturing and advancing the industrial and environmental objectives of the United Arab Emirates.
As a result of this partnership, ROX Motor will start manufacturing its cars at W Motors’ new plant in Abu Dhabi, beginning with the ROX 01. This action demonstrates a dedication to regional resilience and local adaptation since it is the first time ROX cars will be produced outside of China.
According to Jarvis, the founder and CEO of ROX Motor, “this partnership accelerates our regional growth and aligns with the UAE’s industrial strategies.” “We’re working with W Motors to create the sustainable mobility of the future in the United Arab Emirates and beyond.”
W Motors founder and CEO Ralph Debbas continued, “We are honoured to be at the forefront of ROX 01 production in Abu Dhabi. This partnership helps the UAE achieve its goal of becoming a global automotive hub and improves our capacity to provide innovative contract manufacturing.
The agreement strengthens both firms’ responsibilities in establishing a sustainable and independent automotive future for the area by supporting important national programs including Operation 300bn, Industry 4.0, and Net Zero by 2050.
