His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the United Arab Emirates, met with His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, the emir of the State of Qatar, in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.
During the meeting, which was part of the Qatari Emir’s fraternal visit to the United Arab Emirates, the two leaders discussed their close relationships and how to improve cooperation to achieve shared development goals.
His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed also discussed a variety of regional and global problems that both parties find important, such as the Middle East’s recent events and initiatives to promote security and peace by diplomatic means.
To promote peace, stability, and prosperity for the countries and peoples of the region, they reiterated their commitment to ongoing consultation and cooperation.His Highness the Emir of the State of Qatar’s accompanying delegation, which included several sheikhs and high-ranking officials, was also present.
Along with several sheikhs, ministers, and high-ranking officials, UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan bid His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani farewell as he departed the country later that day.
