Students at public and private schools who use the Ministry of Education-determined curriculum faced an unexpected “technical failure” on Monday, the first day of the second-semester exams for the current academic year (2024–2025). The technological issue severely disrupted physics tests for grades 9 through 11.
Therefore, the examinations were delayed by one to two hours from their start time. For the students who were in the exam rooms at the time of the incident, this development surely caused a great deal of delay and inconvenience.
School administrators have claimed that they dealt with the problem immediately, stating that they spoke with the Ministry of Education immediately. The Ministry of Education then assured school administrators that efforts are being made to fully resolve the issue and guarantee that all students can take the test. According to the Ministry, it reacted to the school administrations to inform them that most of the technical issues reported through the CRM system had been resolved.
Additionally, it announced that it had set up a toll-free hotline and email to allow students and schools to interact with the technical support teams and resolve any issues that may arise during the exam period.
