ABU DHABI: The marine & Shipping Cluster of AD Ports Group’s Noatum Maritime division has officially opened its first office in Shanghai, which is devoted to its agency and marine services division, Noatum Maritime Services. The new office leverages Shanghai’s status as a significant commerce and logistics center and supports the Group’s worldwide development plan.

Noatum Maritime Services uses its experience operating in more than 814 ports in 118 countries to offer charterers, owners, operators, and ship management full solutions for all types of vessels and cargo, from load to discharge. With an established physical presence in 77 ports across 17 countries, the new office hopes to provide better service to a growing clientele in China and abroad.

The new facility, which is strategically located in the center of Shanghai, was formally opened during a ribbon-cutting ceremony that was attended by senior officials, such as Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Managing Director and Group CEO of AD Ports Group; Mansour AlMulla, Deputy Group CEO-ADQ; and Mohammed Abdul Rahman Al Hawi, Under-Secretary of the UAE Ministry of Investment.

The branch is located in the same building as Noatum Logistics’ current Shanghai commercial office, demonstrating the integrated and complementary service portfolio that characterizes AD Ports Group’s business strategy.
