We recently had the pleasure of interviewing Anirudhe Ghosh, who is a visionary leader, with a proven track record in executing growth and innovation. Being an experienced senior executive with expertise spanning the Human resource field, Anirudhe shares his insights into nailing the complex business landscape and currently leads as Head Of Business at TASC Corporate Services.
Anirudhe’s career has been defined by transformative leadership and impactful decision-making. In this session, he shares his views on business, technology, and sustainability, which are wholly different from others.
The Beginning
We started the interview by asking, “How did you get started, and what led you to where you are today?”
Anirudhe Ghosh shared, “I had a humble beginning in a small town called Patna, India. I have been fortunate to have great teachers, managers and mentors throughout my life. I started my career in 2001 as a call centre agent at Wipro BPO (formerly known as Spectramind). My passion for working with customers and solving problems has helped me grow both personally and professionally. This career journey has taken me to various places and allowed me to meet incredible people along the way.
Driving Success In TASC Corporate Services
Can you share more about your current role and the business you lead? What are the core services/products you provide?
Anirudhe Ghosh replied, “In my current role as the Head of Business at TASC Corporate Services, I lead and inspire teams to provide outsourced HR services. My experience and expertise enable HR functions to become more strategic and future-ready. I guide organizations in adapting technology, transforming processes and delegating non-core activities, allowing them to focus their time on initiatives that enhance profitability… We have three key lines of services –
- HR Outsourcing – All non-decision-making processes in the Hire-2-Retire journey.
- HR Transformation – Help the organization bring best practices and be future-proof.
- System Adaptation – We consult HR leadership to adopt AI in their current functions.”
Overcoming Major Adversities
Challenging phases are an inevitable part of every career path. To learn how Anirudhe Ghosh overcame these phases, we asked, “What challenges have you faced as a business leader, and how have you overcome them?”
Anirudhe Ghosh replied, “As a business leader, I encounter many challenges every day. From a market perspective, one of the challenges is how to encourage HR practitioners and leaders to think differently. There is this traditional way of running a function, but for HR to be prepared for the future workforce, they need to transform and focus beyond operational activities.
As a leader, I also face internal challenges, such as how to continue to deliver with reliability to our customers as we grow and how to foster a culture of customer-centricity in every employee. There is no single solution to these problems, but I believe that with the right team and tools, we can navigate through these challenges.”
Redefining Businesses With AI
Rapid technological advancements, particularly AI, have redefined the way businesses perform. So, we asked, “How do you see technology, especially AI, impacting your industry? Are there any innovative practices you’re implementing?”
“AI is akin to the internet; it has the potential to change the world for the better if understood and embraced correctly. AI is transforming the entire HR operating model, impacting areas such as recruitment, employee engagement, talent development, and succession planning. We have implemented AI-driven chatbots and payroll systems that can manage these processes independently. Our role involves overseeing the system for biases and exceptions, but otherwise, AI operates autonomously in executing these tasks..” Anirudhe responded.
Envisioning The Future
We further asked, “What are your views on the future of the industry you’re associated with?”
Anirudhe Ghosh replied, “We can expect significant changes in the Human Resources function over the next few years. Operational tasks will increasingly be managed by AI-driven robotics, leading to faster and more efficient processes. I believe that HR professionals will spend more time focusing on talent development, mental well-being initiatives, and coaching employees. Their role within organizations will evolve. To remain relevant, HR must transition from simply being enablers to becoming influencers in business.
Message To Beginners
Addressing the beginners, we asked, “What advice would you give to aspiring entrepreneurs or leaders looking to make an impact in your industry?”
Emphasizing the need to understand the motive behind it, Anirudhe shared, “For Entrepreneurs, there has to be a strong ‘why’ behind your initiative. One of my favorite reference points is ‘The Golden Circle,’ by Simon Sinek. He and many others keep reinforcing that the ‘why’ has to be clear. Is it always clear? No, but that’s the point. As a young entrepreneur, you have to keep asking that question. If you keep the purpose as the core of the organization, it becomes very easy to unify people around the purpose and gather resources to walk the path.”
Work-Life Balance
We ended the interview by asking, “How do you maintain a work-life balance while managing a business?”
“Finding a balance between work and life can feel challenging, especially with a high-performing mindset but it’s possible when you embrace joy in your pursuits. During my climb up Kilimanjaro, I realized how important it is to allow your body time to recover after pushing your limits. Likewise, cultivating great ideas and leading a fulfilling life requires us to give our minds the rest they need. I understand how overwhelming life can get, and recognizing those moments to pause can truly be the support we need to navigate our challenges...” Anirudhe concluded.
