McDonald’s UAE has started a new continuing contribution program with the Red Crescent Medical Centre, building on a successful six-year cooperation with Emirates Red Crescent. The project aims to provide free healthcare services for over 3,000 individuals in need each month throughout the UAE.
Consumers can support this program by using the McDonald’s App to donate rewards points, where 100 rewards points equal Dh1, or by making a donation at the self-ordering kiosks on their next visit to any McDonald’s restaurant in the UAE. Every donation will directly aid the Red Crescent Medical Center’s goal of providing free healthcare to those in need.
Along with healthcare services, the Red Crescent Medical Centre features a dedicated pharmacy that gives those in need access to necessary medications as well as medical equipment like wheelchairs and other items. The medical centre depends on donations and community support to run. The organisation may hire more physicians, buy more medication, and provide more medical equipment with the help of donors.
