The President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan paid a visit to Bahrain’s King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa at his Abu Dhabi home. In the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed and King Hamad, as well as those present, had friendly conversations that reflected the longstanding brotherly bonds between Bahrain and the UAE and their citizens. They restated their common goal of enhancing collaboration in all spheres to promote development goals and long-term prosperity for both countries and their people.
The Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE President’s adviser, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, the UAE President’s adviser for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology Affairs, Faisal Abdulaziz Al Bannai, and several Sheikhs and officials from both sides attended the meeting.
In the meantime, Bahrain has been given the presidency of the preparation sessions for the 115th meeting of the Arab Economic and Social Council by the United Arab Emirates. The Social Committee met to create the agenda for the session’s social dossier at the General Secretariat of the Arab League headquarters on Sunday, to begin the discussions.
