
In front of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ghasaq Yousif Abdullah Shaheen, the recently appointed UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden, was sworn in on Tuesday.
The Chairman of the Presidential Court, Vice President, and Deputy Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, attended the ceremony held at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Mohamed wished the Ambassador luck on her job and urged her to put forth a lot of effort to improve UAE-Sweden ties on all fronts.
He emphasised the critical role that UAE embassies play in promoting positive international collaboration. Ambassador Shaheen pledged to diligently serve the interests of the United Arab Emirates and conveyed her gratitude for the confidence the UAE leadership has put in her.
Reem Bint Ebrahim Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation; Noura Al Kaabi, Minister of State; Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State; Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; and Sheikh Mohamed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President, were among the high-ranking officials who attended the swearing-in ceremony.
