
As part of the UAE’s efforts to improve international collaboration in space exploration, scientific research, and advanced space industries, a delegation from the UAE Space Agency, headed by Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports and Chairman of the UAE Space Agency, traveled to Japan.
According to Dr. Al Falasi, “The National Space Strategy 2030, which aims to create a sustainable space economy, encourage scientific research, and enable the private sector to engage in space projects and technologies actively, provides the UAE with a clear and ambitious vision for the future of the space sector.\
He emphasised that to ensure long-term sustainable growth, the UAE Space Agency collaborates closely with international partners to create and fortify a supporting space ecosystem.
“Japan’s commitment to its role as a bridge for international collaboration, connecting national aspirations with cross-border initiatives and contributing to the creation of a more integrated global space ecosystem that benefits all of humanity is reflected in our visit,” Dr. Al Falasi continued.
This visit marks a significant milestone in our excellent working relationship with Japan, one of the world’s foremost space leaders, and reinforces the strategic partnership between our two countries,” said Salem Butti Al Qubaisi, Director-General of the UAE Space Agency.
