During UAE–Kuwait Relations Week, the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department released numbers showing how quickly Kuwaiti citizens are investing in real estate. This shows how strong and deep the historical and economic ties are between the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait.

The data showed that in 2025, Kuwaiti investments in Sharjah’s real estate industry reached Dhs1.049 billion. This shows that people are becoming more confident in the emirate’s investment climate, which is backed by stable laws and a strong economy and infrastructure.

Kuwaitis hold 5,660 properties, indicating that Kuwait has been investing in Sharjah’s real estate market for many years. This presence goes beyond only owning property; it also includes the fact that Kuwaiti investors were some of the first real estate developers in the emirate. Kuwaiti developers are working on 13 real estate projects, demonstrating their active support for Sharjah’s real estate market.

In 2025, trading activity grew significantly, with Kuwaiti investors buying 868 houses in Sharjah, a 51.7% increase from 2024, when they bought 573 properties. 38.2% More Kuwaiti Investors In the same way, the number of Kuwaiti investors grew by 38.2% from 587 in 2024 to 811 in 2025. This shows that the number of Kuwaiti investors is growing and that new groups are entering Sharjah’s real estate market.
