Sheikh Hamdan, accompanied by Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council, and Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance, instructed Dubai Customs to keep striving to set global standards in customs services and trade facilitation, emphasizing that excellence in customs is essential to safeguarding the economy, boosting Dubai’s competitiveness, and solidifying its position as a hub for international trade.

According to Sheikh Hamdan, to ensure seamless trade, strengthen supply chains, and increase investor confidence, the next stage requires a more intelligent customs system that keeps pace with rapid change by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and streamlined procedures.

Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Group Chairman and CEO of DP World and Chairman of the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, Dr. Abdulla Mohammed Busenad, Director-General of Dubai Customs, and several other senior officials and department heads greeted Sheikh Hamdan upon his arrival at the Dubai Customs headquarters.
