Dubai Founders HQ is a flagship initiative that aims to strengthen and consolidate Dubai’s startup and small and medium enterprise (SME) ecosystem. It was launched Monday by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai.
The first-of-its-kind ‘phygital’ platform, Dubai Founders HQ, was created in collaboration between the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy and the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET). It combines a vibrant physical campus with an extensive digital ecosystem. In order to promote cooperation, creativity, and business expansion, the project unites entrepreneurs, investors, corporates, and enablers under one roof.
The platform’s position as a key center within Dubai’s innovation ecosystem has been strengthened with the addition of more than 25 top public and private sector partners, including those from venture capital, financial services, government agencies, telecommunications, and innovation hubs.
Sheikh Hamdan stated that the new campus will be crucial to bringing Dubai’s entrepreneurship ecosystem together and bolstering it during his Monday visit to Dubai Founders HQ, which is housed in the 25Hours Hotel at One Central, Dubai World Trade Centre. To further enable entrepreneurs and innovators to achieve success, Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the importance of collaboration between the public and private sectors.
