A Forum on Arabic Language Computing is Held in Riyadh

During her visit to the Sharjah Government Pavilion at GITEX Global 2024, Ohood Bin Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and the Future, examined creative efforts by government organisations centred on digital transformation.

On the fourth day of the event, the pavilion continued to participate by showcasing a number of technical innovations meant to improve Sharjah’s service delivery through innovation and artificial intelligence. The Sharjah Digital Department introduced the “Mada” platform with the goal of managing and integrating geographical data across government agencies to enhance decision-making effectiveness and service quality.

The Sharjah Digital Department also unveiled version 2.0 of the “Sharjah Digital” platform, which boasts a new appearance and advanced features like payment alternatives, service ratings, and better access to public services and utilities.

To promote a safer online environment, the Sharjah Police General Command also introduced a virtual platform highlighting its inventions, such as an AI tool for identifying and reporting cyberbullying. Furthermore, the “Smart Education” project uses AI to raise awareness of community security.
