The 44th Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF 2025), with the theme “Between You and a Book,” will take place at Expo Centre Sharjah from November 5–16, 2025. More than 2,350 publishers and exhibitors from 118 countries will be present at the world-renowned event, which is organized by the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA).
With more than 250 visitors from 66 countries, including well-known writers, artists, and thinkers, SIBF 2025 will feature more than 1,200 events and activities. Ten nations, Iceland Jamaica, Nigeria, Mali, Chad, Angola, Mozambique, Guinea, Senegal, and Vietnam, will also be taking part in the fair’s cultural program for the first time.
Leading experts in publishing and creative writing will conduct an expanded series of pre-booked seminars in Arabic and English at the expo. Additionally, 750 workshops from a variety of fields will be hosted by 28 guest experts, providing a range of audiences with practical experiences and insights.
With a unique program of events that includes 70 participants, including writers, poets, translators, illustrators, professors, musicians, actors, librarians, and publishing professionals, this edition will also welcome Greece as the official Guest of Honour.
