
In order to carry out the Arab plan for recovery and reconstruction, Egypt and France emphasized that they reject any calls for the Palestinians to be forced from their land and that the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip must be put an immediate priority.
In addition to holding a conference for the reconstruction efforts in the war-torn enclave following the ceasefire deal in Gaza, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi and visiting French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized the importance of reconstructing the Gaza Strip in coordination with France during a joint press conference at Al Ittihadiya Palace, according to Ambassador Mohamed Al Shennawy, official spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency.
At the Presidential Palace in Cairo, King Abdullah, Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, and Emmanuel Macron pose during a trilateral summit to address the Gaza situation. Reuters Sisi and Macron also witnessed the signing of other agreements and Memoranda of Understanding, or MoUs, between the two nations.
Sisi went on to say that he and Macron signed a joint declaration to elevate Egyptian-French relations to the level of strategic partnership, which he claimed is a crucial step in fostering cooperative efforts and opening up new opportunities. He pointed out that the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip was the main topic of discussion, along with other regional and global events.
