The new program provides up to AED 3,000 in upfront benefits per firm, including free product access, partner-led support, and utility and telecom bill help. Today, Alaan, a corporate card and spend management platform founded in the United Arab Emirates, announced the introduction of “Alaan Sawa: Better together,” an initiative designed to assist UAE SME enterprises. With a total investment of AED 3 million in incentives, the program will assist up to 1,000 enterprises throughout the United Arab Emirates.
Alaan Sawa concentrates on assisting businesses in meeting the necessary requirements to continue functioning as they deal with growing operational costs throughout the United Arab Emirates. Through the program, Alaan will provide up to AED 3,000 in support for UAE SMEs, including DEWA, SEWA, ADDC, and Empower, as well as du and Etisalat. Additionally, for the next six months, UAE SMEs will have free access to Alaan’s corporate card and cross-border payment platform. In addition to this direct assistance, Alaan Sawa presents the Sawa Partner Network, a unique program in the area that allows companies to directly assist one another. Businesses can use it to provide others on the site with their own services, discounts, or advantages.
Alaan, a UAE Future 100 firm, was founded in 2021 and has raised more than $55 million. Currently, it powers billions of dirhams in transactions annually for over 3,000 companies in the area. The company’s goal with Alaan Sawa is to provide assistance to as many companies as possible that choose to participate in the program. Parthi Duraisamy, co-founder and CEO of Alaan, stated, “We’ve seen businesses across the UAE continue to adapt, support their teams, and keep going through a challenging period.” “Alaan Sawa is a way for us to intervene where it matters—by paying necessary expenses and facilitating businesses’ mutual support.”
