After opening in April 2025, the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, has welcomed its three millionth visitor, marking an important milestone. The accomplishment emphasizes the Pavilion’s standing as one of the most popular national pavilions at the international gathering.

The milestone, according to Shihab Alfaheem, UAE Ambassador to Japan and Pavilion Commissioner General, is a testament to the UAE’s global appeal and dedication to promoting communication and cross-cultural engagement. For the UAE Pavilion, hitting the three million milestone is a significant accomplishment. It illustrates the UAE’s story’s universal resonance and our common goals for the future,” he remarked.

Widely praised for its immersive storytelling and environmental construction, the Pavilion was created by the Earth to Ether Design Collective, a group of collaborators from the UAE, Japan, and other countries. Its architecture reflects a design concept focused on sustainability and common purpose, with 90 columns made from agricultural palm debris and inspired by the date palm.

Inside, guests can explore five themed areas that highlight the UAE’s achievements in sustainable technology, healthcare, space exploration, and cultural heritage. Along with interactive exhibits and sensory creations, the Pavilion hosts live concerts, seminars, presentations, and Emirati food demonstrations every day.
