According to a top real estate expert, Disneyland Abu Dhabi is most likely to be constructed on one of the few remaining beachfront plots on the island in North Yas, near the Fahid Bridge. At the same time, Yas Island real estate prices have increased by as much as 20% in the previous 12 months.
Although purchasers are not currently paying more for a view of the future theme park, demand for Yas Island houses increased as soon as the project was revealed in May, according to Ben Crompton, Managing Partner of Crompton Partners, according to Khaleej Times.
Although it hasn’t been finalized yet, the Disney theme park is most likely to open in North Yas, near the Fahid Bridge. This region is one of the few remaining beach spots on the well-known island, and we know it will be on the ocean,” he added.
The attraction, which is anticipated to open in the middle of the 1930s, is not yet having an impact on local short-term rental occupancy rates or nightly prices on sites like Airbnb. With projects like Water’s Edge already demonstrating their popularity among short-term rental operators, Crompton predicted that this sector will likely pick up speed as the handover date draws near.
