The Ministry of Education (MoE) declared that all academic levels’ central exams at the conclusion of the second semester would not be held. It stated that in order to measure learning outcomes reliably and thoroughly, a variety of assessment instruments would be used.
Students would have less academic pressure as a result, and they would have more opportunity to improve their abilities through ongoing, interim evaluation.
In order to meet academic growth needs and take individual differences into account, the MoE plans to amend its student performance assessment policy as part of its continuous efforts to improve the effectiveness of measurement and evaluation methods and develop the educational system.
The MoE clarified that continuous evaluation would be employed for children in grades one through four, with an emphasis on monitoring individual progress, during the media briefing held Tuesday at the Zayed Educational Complex in Dubai to unveil the preparations for the new academic year 2025–2026.
