Sheikh Khaled was greeted by Jinping, who praised the strength of the two nations’ long-standing friendship and its ongoing expansion in important sectors of cooperation. Jinping, in turn, urged Sheikh Khaled to send the President of the United Arab Emirates his heartfelt regards and best wishes for the long-term prosperity and advancement of the country and its citizens.
In addition to highlighting the significance of growing economic and investment ties to ensure balanced and sustainable growth that meets both nations’ interests, the two sides talked about further solidifying their all-encompassing strategic relationship across important industries.
In support of world peace and security, the summit also discussed regional and global events, emphasizing the significance of fostering stability, strengthening international cooperation in tackling common issues, and encouraging peaceful dispute resolution.
Additionally, Sheikh Khaled met with the chairmen of leading Chinese companies on several priority areas, including electronics, energy, petrochemicals, advanced technology, renewable energy, and sovereign investment.
During his visit, Sheikh Khaled had meetings with Dai Houliang, Chairman of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), Liao Zengtai, Chairman of Wanhua Chemical Group, Zhang Qingsong, Chairman and CEO of China Investment Corporation (CIC), Robin Zeng Yuqun, Founder and CEO of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL), and Lei Jun, Chairman of Xiaomi Corporation.
