In 2024, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai strengthened its social and humanitarian responsibilities by putting 63 local and international projects into action, which benefited 29.224 million people.
These programs provided quick humanitarian and relief assistance in reaction to global catastrophes, as well as assistance for orphans, impoverished families, and individuals with tenacity within the UAE.
“RTA is committed to promoting social cohesion and preserving humanitarian principles through corporate social responsibility,” said Abdullah Al Ali, CEO of the Corporate Administrative Support Services Sector at RTA. In line with the UAE leadership’s goal of encouraging collaboration and sustainable philanthropy, we work to provide assistance to those in need by partnering with different organisations and groups.
In keeping with President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s declaration that 2025 would be the “Year of the Community” with the theme “Hand in Hand,” Al Ali reiterated RTA’s dedication to its deeply ingrained corporate and humanitarian values, putting these ideals into practice. This program seeks to promote a prosperous and united society.
In commemoration of mothers, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, inaugurated the “Mother’s Endowment” campaign, in which RTA took part. RTA’s dedication to humanitarian aid and social responsibility is demonstrated by the approximately 29 million people who benefited from the program.
