Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) produced Dhs5.3 billion in revenue through digital channels in 2025, a 20.6 percent increase from 2024, showing the rising acceptance of digital services across its operations.
Transactions performed through digital platforms hit 628 million, a 13% increase. RTA provides 105 digital services over six channels. Digital channel usage reached 96%, with an average customer pleasure index of 98%.
Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the RTA’s Board of Executive Directors, stated that the results demonstrated the authority’s progress from service digitisation to an integrated digital ecosystem powered by data and artificial intelligence, thereby supporting Dubai’s ambition to become the world’s smartest city.
The next phase will focus on increasing the use of AI and new technologies in service design and delivery, as well as improving integration with government digital platforms. This will contribute to the establishment of an advanced digital ecosystem that supports long-term growth while keeping up with rapid global advances in the mobility industry,” Al Tayer remarked.
RTA earned 94% on the Digital Maturity Index, reaching Level 5, the highest level across the Dubai Government in 2025, and ranking among the top four government institutions.
