To ensure the seamless departure and return of pilgrims taking part in the Hajj in 2025, Dubai Airports has started a comprehensive operational plan at Dubai International (DXB). This program demonstrates the airport’s dedication to provide a smooth and helpful travel experience at one of the busiest times of the year.
About 3,100 pilgrims are scheduled to leave DXB this year on 28 special flights run by flydubai, Saudia, Emirates, and flynas. On June 1, the first official Hajj flight will take departure from Terminal 3 with the official delegation from the Dubai government.
Dubai Airports has taken several steps to guarantee a smooth experience in partnership with the oneDXB community, which includes the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai (GDRFA), Dubai Police, Dubai Customs, Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, dnata, and airline partners.
Dedicated check-in counters at Terminals 1, 2, and 3 are one of these measures. For Ihram preparation, prayer rooms and restrooms are accessible in every terminal. Additional assistance stations for the Hajj Committee and multilingual Guest Experience Ambassadors exist. The safe handling of Zamzam water has been assigned to designated luggage carousels.
