The Sharjah Police Academy (SPA) Council meeting was presided over by Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, the Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed said that the Academy is steadily moving forward with creating a comprehensive security education and training paradigm that incorporates excellence in practice, quality, and innovation.
Demonstrate that academic, research, and training programs are in line with the goals of the emirate and the vision of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the ruler of Sharjah and a member of the Supreme Council, to develop a generation of highly skilled professionals who support the security and stability system.
To improve the Academy’s scientific and practical skills, the Council deliberated on several development projects and initiatives aimed at advancing academic and training initiatives. The findings of the counterterrorism training program, conducted in collaboration with the French RAID unit, were reviewed at the meeting. The curriculum covered advanced skills in assessment shooting, infiltration and liberation tactics, and crisis management.
A key component of the Academy’s digital transformation strategy, the creation of the Virtual Center for Education and Training, was also discussed by the Council. To improve academic achievement and educational quality, the school seeks to provide an intelligent, dynamic learning environment that blends virtual and real-world elements.
