There has been much debate over Karisma Kapoor and her children, Kiaan and Samaira, and their portion of Sunjay Kapur’s enormous inheritance ever since the abrupt death of the businessman and actress’s ex-husband.
According to family sources, Karisma has no interest in or role with her ex-husband’s property affairs, setting the record straight once and for all. Rumors that Karisma could be claiming her portion of Sunjay’s estate were circulating recently, however a source close to the family has since denied any such claims.
Furthermore, according to the sources, Karisma has nothing to do with any property. According to the reports, she has no involvement whatsoever in any inheritance or property-related issues. They claimed that the children of Karisma are the legitimate heirs of the deceased businessman’s assets and will be compensated accordingly.
It is also stated that Karisma’s current priorities are only her children’s welfare. For those who are unaware, Karisma and Sunjay were married in a lavish wedding in 2003. But when things didn’t work out, the couple decided to get a divorce in 2014 by mutual consent. In 2016, their divorce was finalized. Karisma brought a domestic abuse lawsuit against Sunjay and his mother, Rani Kapur, in 2016. Kiaan is the couple’s son, while Samaira is their daughter.
