Beginning on March 6, 2026, Etihad Airways will operate a limited number of commercial flights between Abu Dhabi and several important locations. On these flights, guests with prior reservations will be accommodated as quickly as possible. Additionally, tickets can be purchased via etihad.com.

Travelers therefore the public should avoid going to the airport unless they have a confirmed reservation on one of these new flights or have been notified directly by Etihad. After thorough safety and security evaluations, the decision was made in consultation with the appropriate authorities.

Etihad is keeping a careful eye on the situation and won’t start flights until all safety requirements have been satisfied. Ahmedabad, Bangkok, Bengaluru, Cairo, Colombo, Delhi, Frankfurt, Hanoi, Hyderabad, Jeddah, Kuala Lumpur, London (Heathrow), Madrid, Malé, Milan (Malpensa), Moscow (Sheremetyevo), Mumbai, New York (JFK), Paris, Phuket, Riyadh, Rome, Seoul (Incheon), Toronto, and Zurich are among the destinations to and from Abu Dhabi between March 6 and March.

Operational clearances are still required for all services, and they could change based on local airspace conditions. Etihad will contact the impacted travelers directly to check the flight’s status and provide information on their choices.
