At the American University of Sharjah, Sheikha Bodour Establishes MCM Student-Run Agency

On the American University of Sharjah (AUS) campus, the MCM Student-Run Agency was formally opened by Sheikha Bodour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, President of AUS and Chairperson of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre (Sheraa).

As a joint effort by AUS, Sheraa, and National Network Communications (NNC), a top full-service smart agency with headquarters in Sharjah, this program attempts to empower young people by encouraging creativity and giving students the tools they need to realise their ideas. Offering professional guidance and practical experience in advertising, public relations, marketing, and communications to students in the media communication department, it is a first for the UAE and the greater region. Thanks to this, future professionals will have the tools necessary to be successful in the workforce.

The MCM Student-Run Agency aims to combine academic rigour with real-world, practical experience. This calculated approach strengthens Sharjah’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by supporting local talent and fostering innovation and advancing the UAE’s larger economic diversification objectives.
