At the International Council of Museums (ICOM) General Conference 2025, which was held in Dubai from November 11–17, Sharjah Museums Authority (SMA) presented a unified platform that highlighted Sharjah’s arts and culture scene and its innovative role in preserving and presenting history, heritage, the arts, and museum education.

The joint Sharjah display, which was organized by the Sharjah Museums Authority, the Sharjah Art Foundation (SAF), and the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), highlighted the emirate’s unique culture of collaborative cultural endeavor.

It reinforced Sharjah’s standing as a worldwide destination that combines authenticity and innovation by presenting an integrated model that reflected the city’s cultural, artistic, and tourism presence both domestically and abroad.

Under the theme “Authentic. Timeless. Rich,” Sharjah’s stand at the ICOM Museum Fair at the Dubai World Trade Center provided an immersive, multimodal experience. Through a thoughtfully chosen layout that highlighted Sharjah’s museums, historical sites, art galleries, and neighborhood projects, the presentation conveyed the city’s cultural identity.
