
Mohammad Ishaq Dar, the deputy prime minister and foreign affairs minister of Pakistan, was met by Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the deputy prime minister and foreign affairs minister, at the 12th meeting of the UAE-Pakistan Joint Ministerial Commission, which took place in Abu Dhabi.
Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Sheikh Abdullah discussed how to advance bilateral ties, enhance their common interests, and advance the prosperity and well-being of both peoples. After the meeting, Ishaq Dar and Sheikh Abdullah signed the minutes of the 12th session of the Joint Ministerial Commission between the two nations.
Both parties signed a memorandum of Understanding to create a joint task force to encourage UAE investments in Pakistan’s vital industries. Tariq Bajwa, the Prime Minister of Pakistan’s Special Assistant, and Mohamed Hassan Al Suwaidi, the Minister of Investment, signed the Memorandum of Understanding.
They also watched as Zarar Hashim Khan, Federal Secretary of Pakistan’s Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications, and Mohamed Hassan Al Suwaidi signed an agreement on artificial intelligence and the digital economy.
Mohamed Hassan Al Suwaidi, Minister of Investment; Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; and Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs, were present at the joint commission meeting.
