The capital’s first low-cost airline, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi, began operating its maiden route between Almaty, Kazakhstan, and Abu Dhabi. With three weekly flights beginning on June 3, the new route demonstrates the airline’s ongoing dedication to improving connectivity between the UAE and Central Asia.

“We’re delighted to be introducing our weekly service between Abu Dhabi and Almaty, which reflects our dedication to providing more reasonably priced travel options to important international locations straight from the UAE capital,” said Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia.

With its inauguration, visitors from Kazakhstan will have easy access to the lively capital of the United Arab Emirates, as well as the chance to experience the natural beauty and rich cultural legacy of one of Central Asia’s most dynamic towns.

Elena Sorlini, the managing director and CEO of Abu Dhabi Airports, stated: “Air Arabia Abu Dhabi’s direct service to Almaty is a great complement to our expanding network at Zayed International Airport. This new link underscores our continuous efforts to solidify Abu Dhabi’s status as a major international hub and expands our customers’ travel options. We anticipate that this route will promote tourism, cultural interchange, and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates.
