According to Mohamed Ali Al Janahi, Acting Director-General of the Ajman Chamber, the number of iron, steel, and metal industries factories in Ajman will reach 190 by 2025, with membership of newly registered enterprises increasing by 28%, indicating the sector’s significant expansion.
He stated that the total number of Ajman Chamber memberships held by factories and firms dealing in the iron, steel, and metal industries would reach 745 by 2025, representing a 5% annual growth rate.
His remarks came as the BelRemaitha Steel Factory in Ajman launched its first commercial export consignment to the Gulf area. The occasion was attended by Abdullah Abdul Mohsen Al Nuaimi, Director of Government Communication at the Ajman Chamber, Dr. Adel Belremeitha, Founder and Chairman of the BelRemaitha Steel Factory, and numerous factory executives.
Al Janahi emphasized Ajman and the UAE’s strong manufacturing capabilities in the iron, steel, and metal industries sector, saying that firms use cutting-edge, environmentally friendly industrial technologies and employ best practices in energy and resource efficiency. He stated that these initiatives help to ensure environmental sustainability, improve industrial competitiveness, and increase productivity.
