Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed commended the Judicial Council members’ work and their continued commitment to strengthening the legal system and preserving the rule of law. He emphasized that their efforts contribute to the upkeep of a just and effective legal system that upholds social stability and safeguards rights.

The development of judicial services throughout the emirate’s cities, the unity of media message, and the improvement of public communication through diverse channels were among the themes discussed at the meeting.

The creation of two Courts of Appeal in the cities of Kalba and Al Dhaid was authorized by the Council. The Judicial Authority Law, which gives the Judicial Council the authority to set up courts throughout the emirate’s cities, will govern how these courts handle appeals. This action is intended to improve litigants’ access to justice and guarantee the provision of thorough legal and judicial services within the Emirate of Sharjah.

Establishing the Courts of Appeal in Kalba and Al Dhaid will expedite adjudication, reduce the burden on the central courts, and strengthen the legal system. Additionally, it would provide litigants in both cities with easy access to full court services near their residences, guaranteeing fair justice and raising client satisfaction throughout the emirate.
