His Highness the President On the occasion of the 53rd Eid Al Etihad (National Day), Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued an order for the release of 2,269 prisoners from prisons throughout the United Arab Emirates.
Additionally, Sheikh Mohamed promised to pay for any fines and penalties levied against the prisoners, who had received sentences for a range of offences.
His Highness’ dedication to giving ex-offenders a chance to start over, establish family stability, and reintegrate into their communities is shown in this project.
His Majesty, On the occasion of the 53rd Union Day, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Prime Minister and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates and the ruler of Dubai, issued an order releasing 1,169 prisoners of various nationalities from Dubai’s rehabilitation and correctional facilities.
Sheikh Mohammed’s dedication to giving ex-offenders a chance to start again, establish family stability, and reintegrate into their communities is reflected in the project.
The Attorney General of the Emirate of Dubai, Counselor Essam Issa Al Humaidan, confirmed that collaboration with the General Command of the Dubai Police should begin immediately in order to carry out the release order as soon as feasible.
