ABU DHABI: Masdar City Free Zone (MCFZ) has expanded its worldwide footprint by creating its first representative office in China, a bold move that strengthens Abu Dhabi’s position as a global hub for innovation and long-term economic development.
In partnership with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), the occasion was celebrated by the signing of key strategic landmark Memorandums of Understanding during a high-profile roadshow in Suzhou and Beijing, strengthening economic, technical, and sustainability ties between the UAE and China and supporting the UAE’s Falcon Economy vision.
Masdar City’s expansion into China relies on its aim to attract foreign direct investment, speed technology transfer, and create new opportunities for collaboration between two of the world’s premier innovation hubs. The opening of the Masdar City Free Zone China representative office in Suzhou Industrial Park marked the culmination of a week-long UAE-China business roadshow organized in collaboration with A&A Associates and supported by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office.
The roadshow brought together Fortune 500 and Global 500 corporations, government officials, investors, and industry experts in artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, and sustainable transportation. During the roadshow, Masdar City Free Zone inked many strategic memorandums of understanding, laying the groundwork for its expansion in China.
