The Digital School, one of the projects of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, has started a global campaign to train and develop the skills of 10,000 digital teachers in partnership with the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Ministry of Education.

Through an advanced training program arranged in collaboration with Arizona State University, USA, the program seeks to provide male and female educators in the area with contemporary digital teaching skills.

The project sets the stage for a new stage of strategic collaboration between the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Ministry of Education and the Digital School. It builds on the success of the first phase, which was carried out with Dubai Cares’ support and trained and certified 2,400 digital teachers, laying the groundwork for growth to 10,000 instructors. This demonstrates our shared dedication to raising the standard of education, encouraging innovation in the field, and strengthening the educational system’s capacity to meet the demands of a knowledge- and technology-based future.

The Kurdistan Regional Government’s Minister of Education, Alan Hama Salih, commended the Digital School’s efforts and dedication to enhancing teachers’ proficiency in digital education, as well as its capacity to connect with educators and students worldwide.
