Ho Duc Phoc, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, emphasised the significance of fostering bilateral relations between Vietnam and the United Arab Emirates during a meeting with the Prime Minister’s Office delegation from the UAE Government Leaders Programme.

He praised the UAE’s leadership in important areas including education, information technology, infrastructure, and investment, as well as its exceptional expertise in government innovation. The discussion was held in conjunction with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) as part of the delegation’s knowledge tour to Vietnam. Senior Vietnamese officials, Khaled Sharaf, Director of the UAE Government Leaders Program, and Dr. Bader Al Matrooshi, UAE Ambassador to Vietnam, joined the trip.

Through success stories, sharing experiences, and encouraged Emirati young to take advantage of strategic investment possibilities in Vietnam, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted Vietnam’s goal to take the partnership to new heights. He emphasised the need of working together to incorporate sustainable development goals in ways that represent both countries’ aspirations.

The UAE government is committed to strengthening international ties and sharing successful models with other governments worldwide, according to Omar Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, and Director General of the Prime Minister’s Office.
