The first open robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) competition in the United Arab Emirates, STOGOCOMP, has been announced by the Emirates Safer Internet Society (eSafe) and is accessible to all schoolchildren between the ages of 9 and 19. This platform will be used in its first edition by students from both public and private schools to offer practical ideas to enhance the wellness of students in educational institutions.

STOGOCOMP encourages children to be creative, innovative, and curious while they develop their STEM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) abilities and learn more about robots and Al. With technical assistance from Tachyon 360, the University of Dubai will conduct this esteemed competition in collaboration with the non-governmental organisations Emirates Safer Internet Society and the Robotics Automation Society.

We are proud at eSafe to organise this ground-breaking competition, generously funded by Disney Company, in collaboration with our valued partners—the Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) and the University of Dubai, which will host the final ceremony,” stated Dr. Abdulla Mohamed Al Mehyas, Chairman of eSafe. We are hopeful that STOGOCOMP will open doors for UAF students to make significant contributions to the nation’s goal of becoming a leader in artificial intelligence.
