His Majesty The Ministerial Development Council met under the direction of Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to examine a number of government reports and talk about legislative proposals that were filed by federal agencies and ministries.
In addition to measures governing tax procedures, federal public finance, and rules pertaining to accounting, auditing, and competition laws, the meeting’s agenda featured talks on regulatory decisions pertaining to human resources policies for mosque employees throughout the United Arab Emirates.
Updates on the implementation of digital government initiatives, the health insurance system, and UAE visitor visa laws were reviewed by the council in the area of governmental affairs.
The council also looked at updates on economic cooperation within the framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council, reports on the UAE’s participation in the G20 Culture Ministers’ Meeting in Brazil, and the results of the 40th ministerial meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation.
