His Majesty The Supreme Council member and Sharjah ruler, Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, has instructed the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey (SDTPS) to allot 160 land parcels to the people of Khorfakkan.
Priority is granted to those holding commercial and industrial licenses for the 80 commercial and 80 industrial sites along Harai Road.
On Tuesday, the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC) met at the Ruler’s Office under the direction of Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the SEC. Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Vice Chairman of the Executive Council, was also present.
The SEC authorized a decrease in the sale and purchase fees for transactions that will be carried out at the ACRES Real Estate Exhibition 2025 in recognition of the notable expansion of the Emirate of Sharjah’s real estate market and the growing interest of investors in purchasing and selling real estate units.
The sale charge for real estate developers will be 0.5%, while the buying fee will be 1% for UAE and GCC nationals and 2% for other nationalities.
In a ruling on the Rental Disputes Center’s enforcement practices, the SEC established an Enforcement Department to function at the Center’s headquarters under the direction and leadership of the Enforcement Judge.
