An Asian man was seriously injured after his motorcycle wrecked in the Rafadah desert in Al Madam, Central Region, and was rescued by Sharjah Police in coordination and cooperation with the National Guard’s National Search and Rescue Center.
At 12:28 p.m. on Friday, Al Madam, the Central Operations Room, was notified that a motorcycle had capsized in the Rafadah desert.With the help of the National Guard’s search and rescue planes, specialized police teams raced to the scene of the collision and transported the injured party to Al Dhaid Hospital so they could receive the necessary medical care.
Sharjah Police emphasized how crucial it is that bikers follow the authorized guidelines when engaging in desert pastimes and activities.
In accordance with government directions, Sharjah Police has always been eager to improve public safety and promote safe behaviors that help preserve and increase awareness of the environment in order to meet sustainable development goals.
According to them, engaging in dangerous desert sports in areas not intended for such pastimes could result in fatalities and major mishaps.
They advised motorcyclists to refrain from careless driving, avoid rough terrain or locations remote from emergency routes, and follow guidelines that protect people and improve public safety.
