King Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan met with President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Sunday. Their discussions centred on the two countries’ close cooperation in sectors that promote a common vision of security, prosperity, and sustainable development and their strong fraternal connections.
King Abdullah welcomed the UAE President and his delegation, who are on a business visit to Jordan, and expressed his joy at their presence during an official reception held at Basman Palace in Amman.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed their continued bilateral collaboration in several important areas, including the economy, investment, sustainable development, food security, and renewable energy. They underlined their mutual dedication to seeking fresh opportunities for cooperation and forming strategic business alliances that support both countries’ goals for growth and advancement.
King Abdullah II and Sheikh Mohamed discussed the close and enduring connections between their nations, which date back to the reigns of the late King Hussein Bin Talal and the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
