As part of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,” five convoys of 76 trucks delivering 938 tonnes of humanitarian aid from the United Arab Emirates reached the Gaza Strip. The convoys arrived in Gaza this week as part of the United Arab Emirates’ continuous efforts to assist the Palestinian people and provide for their humanitarian needs in light of the current circumstances in the Gaza Strip. The convoys strengthened the humanitarian response within the Gaza Strip by delivering food boxes, shelter supplies, and 20 water tanks.
In order to maintain the flow of aid into the Gaza Strip and guarantee that it reaches those in need, the UAE humanitarian aid team continues to prepare and dispatch convoys through the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Center. This integrated system guarantees the quick preparation, sorting, and movement of relief supplies. These convoys are an extension of the United Arab Emirates’ humanitarian efforts under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, which involves sending out relief convoys on a regular basis with the goal of easing the suffering of the Palestinian people and improving the response to critical humanitarian needs.
