The Education, Human Development, and Community Development Council announces flexible remote work arrangements for federal government employees who are caregivers, as well as the continuance of online learning in educational institutions. Any revisions will be made public via the ministries’ official channels, as well as those of the authority and educational establishments.

At the beginning of the third academic term, all nurseries, kindergartens, and public and private schools worldwide will continue to offer two weeks of distance learning to students as well as teaching and administrative staff. In collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the situation will be evaluated once a week.

Following spring break, distance learning will continue for two weeks for students at all higher education institutions. The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research will be consulted for a weekly assessment of the situation. In order to guarantee the caliber of the educational process, higher education institutions may choose the best system for the work of academic and administrative personnel.

In collaboration with the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, flexible remote work arrangements will be made available for caregivers among federal government employees, including fathers or mothers whose jobs permit remote work, during the time that distance learning is implemented for students in kindergarten through eighth grade and for children formally enrolled in nurseries.
